ELKA d.o.o., a Croatian company with a long-standing tradition in electric cable manufacturing, is seeking a motivated and responsible individual to join our team as a Human Resources Specialist.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• participating in the recruitment, selection, and employee onboarding processes
• participating in organizing and monitoring employee training and professional development
• maintaining and archiving employee records
• registering and deregistering employees for pension and health insurance
• drafting employment contracts, contract amendments, and termination agreements
• preparing data and documentation related to payroll processing
• generating various reports and records regarding employees
• managing employee entitlements such as financial aid, long-service awards, and other benefits
• providing administrative support for all human resources processes
• monitoring changes in and the application of labor laws and regulations
• handling communication and administrative tasks related to the employment of foreign workers
• performing other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Law, or a related field
• prior experience in Human Resources (HR) is desirable
• active knowledge of English (at least B2 level)
• experience working with foreign workers
• knowledge of basic labor law regulations
• proficiency in computer use and the MS Office suite
• strong organizational and communication skills
• responsibility, independence, a systematic approach, and discretion
• ability to manage a large number of employees and documents
