XP 44, XP 44-A

Power cables with XLPE insulation and PVC sheath, armored with round steel wires

IEC 60 502-1 (Cu/XLPE/SWA/PVC, Al/XLPE/SWA/PVC)

BS 5467

Cable Structure

  1. Conductor: Cu strand (XP 44), Al strand (XP 44-A)
  2. Insulation: XLPE compound
  3. Filler: Injection-molded elastomeric or plastomeric compound or wrapped thermoplastic tapes
  4. Armor: Galvanized steel round wires, and in the opposite direction, wrapped galvanized steel tape
  5. Sheath: PVC compound

Application For use in underground, channels, brackets, dry and wet rooms, and similar environments where mechanical damage is expected, but the cables are not subjected to significant tensile stress during angled or vertical installations. Used in city networks, industrial plants, power plants, and other electrical facilities for high current and thermal loads (conductor operating temperature up to 90°C). For MTK control system needs in distribution networks, a 2.5 mm² additional insulated conductor is installed in the center of the cable in larger section four-core cables. Technical Data Rated voltage: 1 kV Test voltage: 3.5 kV Standards: IEC 60 502-1, BS 5467
