XP 41, XP 41-A

Energy signal cables with XLPE insulation and PVC sheath, armored with two steel tapes

IEC 60 502-1 (Cu/XLPE/STA/PVC, Al/XLPE/STA/PVC)

Cable Structure:

  1. Conductor: Cu wire (XP 41), Al wire (XP 41-A)
  2. Insulation: XLPE material
  3. Filler: Injected elastomeric or plastomeric compound, or wrapped thermoplastic tapes
  4. Armor: Two (2) steel tapes
  5. Sheath: PVC material

Application: Suitable for installation in the ground, ducts, on racks, in dry and wet rooms, etc., where mechanical damage is expected, but cables are not subjected to high tensile mechanical stress. Used in urban networks, industrial plants, power plants, and other electrical installations for increased current and thermal loads (conductor operating temperature up to 90°C). For MTK system management needs in distribution networks, an additional insulated conductor of 2.5 mm² is placed in the center between the conductors for larger cross-section four-core cables.

Technical Data:

  • Rated voltage: 1 kV
  • Test voltage: 3.5 kV
  • Standards: IEC 60 502-1
