ELKA Receives VDE Certification for 110 kV Cables – A World First

On December 23, 2025, ELKA became the first cable manufacturer in the world to receive VDE certification for 110 kV cables — the highest voltage certification currently issued by VDE.

This milestone is the result of dedicated work by our entire team, led by our Head of Quality Control, Vlatko Poljak, Head of R&D, Toni Oreč, and Management Board members Marko Čepek and Olivera Matić. Together with our colleagues at VDE, they have helped establish this new certification level while making ELKA the first company to achieve it.

We are especially honored that VDE selected ELKA as the first cable manufacturer globally to complete this certification program, demonstrating the superior quality of our products.
