ELKA has become part of the ISKRA Group.

On Saturday, May 22, 2021, a purchase agreement was signed in Zagreb for the acquisition of 100% of the shares in our company, Elka, by Iskra, elektro in sistemske rešitve d.o.o. from Ljubljana. The transaction will be completed upon fulfillment of conditions, including approvals from the relevant competition authorities in Croatia and Slovenia.

The acquisition agreement was signed by Mr. Dušan Šešok, the CEO and owner of Iskra, and Mr. Miljenko Hacek, the owner of the Elka Group – Cotra.

“ELKA’s entry into the Iskra Group is great news for the Slovenian and Croatian economies, as it synergistically connects two well-known brands and companies with a long-standing tradition, each symbolizing reliability and quality in their respective segments,” emphasizes Šešok.

“Elka attracted a significant number of interested investors and potential strategic partners, among which Iskra stood out as a strong and agile Slovenian group. I believe they will provide Elka with the growth, development, stability, and progress needed through investments, resource efficiency, and know-how—essential for keeping pace with the global development of new technologies and production processes,” emphasized Hacek.

This significant transaction is a confirmation and recognition of our entire team and collective for the outstanding results we have achieved together over the past two years, which have been acknowledged internationally, particularly by Iskra, which has shown the greatest willingness for a strategic partnership and connection with Elka.

We are confident that the acquisition of our company by a renowned, ambitious, and successful business group like Iskra will initiate a new cycle of development, progress, and prosperity for Elka, benefiting all our business partners and us as employees.
