During a short press conference on the occasion of Elka’s 80th anniversary, attended by the representatives of the partner-companies and marked by a valued donation of 350.000 kunas worth informatics equipment, were also released the financial results for the first 9 months.
The oldest Croatian cable producer finished the first nine months with a 20 percent increase of its total revenues in relation to the same period of the previous year, i.e. with 502 millions of kunas, and a doubled profit of 10 millions of kunas.
Till the end of the year Elka will realize a total revenue of 645 millions of kunas and export to foreign markets in the value of 42 millions of kunas.
“We are exceptionally pleased with the realized business results which follow the aims set at the beginning of the year. The number of Elka’s clients is increasing daily, and our wide range of products is conceived to meet the requirements of our most demanding buyers” – declared the President of the Management Board of Elka, Mr. Darko Belić.
The President of the Management Board has also announced further growth and increased domestic and foreign market share, construction of modern factory with increased capacity, application of modern materials, implementation of new technological achievements in production, same as transformation of company from a society with limited responsibility into a stock corporation.
