ENERGY EFFICIENCY POLICY

The Energy Efficiency Policy covers development, design, production and service of electric conductors, cables and steel ropes, same as production of insulation and protective materials for conductors and cables.

The mission of the company is to ensure:

  • energy-efficient products and services to our clients
  • financial savings for our owners
  • stimulating working environment for our employees

ELKA d.o.o.  will implement the management systems acc. to the best world standards  (ISO 9001 , ISO 14001, ISO 50001) and use energy in a more efficient, cost-effective and environmentally friendly way.

Energy efficiency is essential in all business processes, what is visible from the plan which outlines an increase of profitability, strengthening of our competitive position and rendering of the highest quality service to our clients.

The realization of energy efficiency policy requires participation of all employees. The employees are informed about energy issues and included in the energy efficiency program.

ELKA d.o.o. will continually improve energy efficiency, document implementation plans, realize savings in the area of energy efficiency, support procurement of energy-efficient products and services, and design aimed at improvement of energy efficiency.

Company goals related to this policy are as follows:

  • certification and maintenance of ISO 50001 certificate within the organization
  • reduction of operational costs and increase of profit through active and responsible management of energy efficiency
  • reduction of energy consumption per product
  • providing a stimulating working environment for our employees, while simultaneously managing the energy efficiency
  • ensuring material and human resources for energy efficiency projects
  • demonstrate the commitment of our management towards the community and implementation of energy efficiency measures
  • fully comply with relevant legislation, regulations, requirements and recommendations related to energy efficiency

From the general, set objectives of the energy efficiency management system will emerge specific and documented individual programs for their realization.
