Nordic days in Croatia, a conference fair organized for the fifth time in a row by the Nordic chamber of commerce and the embassies of Denmark, Island and Norway, took place on 24th and 25th of November this year at the Zagreb fair.

The topic of this year’s  fair was “Energetic efficaciousness and environment”, with the aim to gather at one spot Nordic, Croatian and regional companies and organizations of the energy and environment sector, and to implement the business contacts, open the door to new investments, encourage the exchange of knowledge and experiences, and represent new technologies and products at this area. Special attention was paid to traditional and renewable energy sources, disposal of waste and waste waters, environment protection and energetic efficaciousness.

Nordic days in Croatia represent a unique business concept which combines business meetings, seminars, workshops, professional trips, speed meetings, and as such brings together potential employers and the energy and environment sector experts in Croatia and the entire region.

It was the first time that Elka kabeli had participated at that event, and according to our representative, the Commercial director assistant Mr. Joso Lucić, our interest was directed towards the area of “Renewable energy sources – usage of wind power”, considering a fact that Croatia has got a very ambitious plan of erecting wind farms whose construction will require significant quantities of low voltage and medium voltage cables.
