These days ELKA has signed a 20 mil.Euros worth contract with the Russian oil company. TATNEFT based in Tatarstan, for delivery of instrumentation cables intended for construction of new refining plants in the period 2014-2020. It is the sixth largest oil company in Russia with 60 billion USD revenue (2012) and over 80.000 employees.
“The expansion to the Russian market is a part of Elka’s business strategy for the period 2014-2020 >– new partners and new markets in the countries of North America, Africa, and of course in Russia. With continued growth of export to the markets of European countries such as Germany, Great Britain and Italy, and plans and announcements for new markets, we believe that we shall realize the stated business objectives and a growth of 10% – 15% compared to the previous year”, says Mr. Vatroslav Sablić, the CEO of ELKA.
