In the organization of the Zagreb Chamber seven Croatian companies presented themselves at the international Power Equipment Fair Middle East Electricity 2007., held from February 11 to 14 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

By the end of September, our company participated at the fair of the ship-equipment producers in the German port town Hamburg.

– In the organization of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce and the Croatian shipbuilding Jadranbrod, within the joint exhibition area appeared beside Elka also: Končar, Uljanik TES, Adriadizel, Ventilator, TTK and Felis, same as the Croatian shipyards: Trogir, 3. Maj, Brodosplit and Uljanik.

Participation at different fairs, specially at thematic ones, is still crucial for the export-oriented companies. At the largest and the best fair in Bosnia and Herzegovina – The Commercial Fair in Zenica, Elka presented its production range, specially the mining cables, together with its partner Rivin d.o.o. from Tuzla.

The 17th international fair of mining and energetics equipment took place at the EXPO center in Nasrec – Johannesburg from 11th to 15th September 2006. At the exhibition area of 30.500 m2 were represented some 650 exhibitors from 22 countries, mostly from Canada, USA, Poland and Germany. The representatives of the Croatian companies appeared within the common exhibition area in the organization of the Croatian chamber of commerce in Zagreb. Beside Elka kabeli the companies Končar, Eko-vent, EXOR and Dok-ing were also present at the fair.

The Construction and Rebuilding Fair 2006, which took place in Sarajevo from May 23-26, gathered some 400 exibitors from all around the world at the area of 25000 square meters.

Jobs and careers fair, known as SPIKa, organized by the leading student associations ATESEC, BEST and SSFER, took place on March 21 and 22 in the area of the Student Centre in Zagreb.

800 exhibitors from 51 countries participated at the largest power supply fair in the Middle East, held from February 2 – 8, 2006 in Dubai.

‘Tomorrow starts today’ was the motto of this year’s, sixth JobFair, where the trends of the home job market were presented to the technology students and the young engineers.

One of the largest manifestations of industrial technology, the Hannover Fair 2005, which took place from April 11-15, attracted this year more than 205.000 of visitors from all around the world, i.e. 20 percent more in relation to the previous year.

Fifteen Croatian power equipment producers, including Elka kabeli, introduced themselves at the 30 th international fair “Middle East Electricity”, which took place from 6 th to 9 th March in Dubai (UAE) in organisation of the Zagreb Trade Chamber.

At the fourth international specialised cable industry exhibition CABEX 2005, which took place from 01. to 04. March in Moscow, ELKA kabeli introduced itself to the Russian market together with the Moscow SKAB.

Elka kabeli is the winner of the recognition and of the crystal sculpture for design, i.e. for the highest level of styling and for the best ideas in the solution of the exhibition area at this-year anniversary 80 th Zagreb autumn fair.
